Materials

  • Scheepjes catona
  • 2mm crochet hook

HEAD

Use white yarn

  • Row 1: 6sc in MR (6)
  • Row 2: 6inc (12)
  • Row 3: (1sc, 1inc) * 6 (18)
  • Row 4: (1sc, 1inc, 1sc) 6 (24)
  • Row 5 – Row 8: 24 sc (24)
  • Row 9: (1sc, 1dec, 1sc) 6 (18)
  • Row 10: (1sc, 1dec) * (12)

Cut the thread, leaving enough length for sewing. Stuff with the fiberfill. Embroider the eyes between rounds 6 and 8 at about 5 sts apart.

NOSE

Use yellow yarn

  • Row 1:3sc in MR (3)
  • Row 2: 3sc (3)

Cut the yarn and sew the nose to the head.

BODY

Use white yarn

HAT

Use black yarn

  • Row 1: 6sc in MR (6)
  • Row 2: 6inc (12)
  • Row 3: (1sc, 1inc) * 6 (18)
  • Row 4: BLO, 18 sc (18)
  • Row 5: 18sc (18)

Change to red yarn

  • Row 6: 18sc (18)

Change to black yarn

  • Row 7: BLO, 18inc (36)

Cut the yarn and leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the hat to the snowman.

ARM

Use brown yarn

  • Row 1: 4sc in MR (4)
  • Row 2-Row 4: 4sc (4)

Cut the yarn, and leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the arm to the snowman.

SCARF

Use red yarn

Chain 4 starts from the second st from the hook.

  • Row 1: 2HDC, chain 2, turn back (2)
  • Row 2:2HDC, chain 2, turn back (2)

Repeat row 1, row 2 until the scarf is long enough. Wear the scarf to the snowman. Use red yarn to embroider 3 buttons.

Add a string on the top of the hat for hanging.
