Materials:

    • Scrap yarn for eyes, nose, and ruffled collar
  • Crochet hook: 3 mm
  • Pair of scissors
  • Yarn needle
  • Stitch marker
  • Wooden ring (non-toxic, unpainted, ~2 inches in diameter)

Bunny Head:

  1. Beginning:
    • Start with a magic circle or chain 2.
    • Work 6 single crochet (sc) into the second chain from the hook or into the magic circle.
  2. Round 1:
    • Do not join rounds; use a stitch marker.
    • 6 sc in a ring. (6 stitches)
  3. Round 2:
    • Work 2 sc in each stitch around. (12 stitches)
  4. Round 3:
    • 1 sc in next stitch, 2 sc in next stitch, repeat around. (18 stitches)
  5. Round 4:
    • 1 sc in each of the next 2 stitches, 2 sc in next stitch, repeat around. (24 stitches)
  6. Round 5:

Ruffled Collar:

  1. Beginning:
    • Chain 11.
  2. Row 1:
    • Work 5 double crochets (dc) in 3rd chain from the hook and in each remaining chain. (45 stitches)
  3. Row 2:
    • Chain 2 (counts as first dc), dc across. (45 stitches)
  4. Fasten off and leave yarn tail for sewing.

Teething Ring Cover:

  1. Beginning:
    • Chain 22.
  2. Row 1:
    • Single crochet (sc) in the 2nd chain from the hook and in each chain. (21 stitches)
  3. Rows 2-7:
    • Chain 1, turn. Sc in each stitch across. (21 stitches)
  4. Fasten off and leave yarn tail for sewing.
  5. Whip stitch the piece around the teething ring.

Assembly:

  1. Attach Ears:
    • Pin ears in position and sew to the head securely.
  2. Embroider Facial Features:
