Do not cut off the yarn. If you use safety eyes, put them in place after Rnd 5, between two ears, 5-6 sts apart.

ASSEMBLING THE BODY

Sew the shells together by making sl st all along Rnd 8 of both shells: using Front Loops only, insert the hook through next st of the upper shell, then insert the hook through corresponding st of the lower shell, yarn over and pull through both loops on hook, one sl st done.

Repeat 34 more times, stuff your Catcaron when you are 6-7 sts to the end. Do not cut off and continue making the tail. You might cut off if you find it easier to work each piece separately or want to change tail’s color.
