Positive Products For Creatives

I love how positivity spreads through our creative community. Maybe it’s because I’m in the business of making positive products, but I have really noticed more and more happy products out there and I’m loving it. So today’s post is about sharing what I have found with you and also a little giveaway too! IT’S MONDAY AND WE NEED ALL THE POSITIVITY!

You Got This Wall Art from Claireabellemakes

It’s no secret I’m a stationery fan and today marks the start of National Stationery Week in the UK, so I’ll start with some goodies from eco-friendly company The Green Gables. These Cards of Encouragement are so super lovely for snail mail fans and I’d definitely be a fan of punching them for my planner. The Green Gables owner Gabrielle Treanor has also just realeased her new e-course which focuses on creating a happiness habit with gratitude practice.

You can also check out their stationery subscription box The Happy Paper club which I reviewed here.

Cards-of-Encouragement-The-Green-GablesContinuing the gratitude theme, I have been working the team at The Happiness Planner for the last two years to promote their absolutely beautiful planners and journals. I cannot recommend them highly enough and the 100 day undated planner has recently been released in a ton of new colours.

It is definitely worth keeping an eye out as their product range is really expanding and each planner release is more gorgeous than the last!

I’d also like to mention The Happiness Project book which I recently enjoyed (and reviewed here). It includes a lot of practical ways to address happiness and ensure your life has balance and meaning.

I’ve followed Laura on Instagram for a while now, but I adore Elsie and Nell‘s range of bags, banners, cards, stationery, cushions and jewellery all with a positive twist. They also sell a tote bag which tells the owner they are a “Goddamn Magical Unicorn”. If that’s not in your face positivity, I don’t know what is!

The always cheery Rachel of OH NO Rachio has a great range of positive products on offer. If you follow Rachel on social media (she’s the Periscope Queen!) you can often see her sharing sneak peeks of new designs that are in the works. Rachel will directly ask her audience for their opinions on new designs and I know that she has some more positive products on the way.

Creatives LOVE a cup of tea, so when I came across Positivitea I thought it would be a great one to share with you. Their teas focus on an ancient Indian philosophy for healing and living life in a positive way. And some of the flavours sound SO delicious!

The lovely Ruth at The Make Arcade has been working her socks off creating her ever popular craft kits. I tried the watermelon pin cushion kit which I made here and have loved these cheery products ever since!

Watermelon-Pincushion-KitThe Make Arcade recently teamed up with The Blurt Foundation to contribute to their Buddy Box which increases the awareness of depression and mental illness. Each box contains “thoughtful, mood-lifting treats” to give the recipient a “hug in a box”. Ruth designed this exclusive You Are Brave Cross Stitch Kit for the Buddy Box and has been kind enough to offer a kit for one lucky reader of this blog!

You-Are-Brave-Craft-Kit-The-Make-ArcadeYou will also win one of my new Motivational Pencil Sets because I know there are a ton of stationery fans reading and what better way to celebrate National Stationery Week!

Just leave a comment below and I’ll pick a winner a random on Monday 9th May at 9.30am BST. If you fancy sharing this post to spread a bit of positivity that would also be ace!

This giveaway has now closed and the winner was Kamen!!

The Happiness Planner Review

If you’re a regular follower of Claireabellemakes, you know that I love my planner and I love to promote positivity. So when I found The Happiness Planner on Instagram, I knew I had stumbled upon something which was perfect for me.

So what exactly is the Happiness Planner? A combination of gratitude, positive thinking and goal setting, this is a planner that encourages you to reflect and focus on what makes you happy.

Planner-Reviews-By-ClaireabellemakesThe planner begins with a series of exercises to help you create a ‘happiness roadmap’. Basically this section encourages you to take a deep look at yourself in terms of weaknesses, strengths, hopes and dreams. You then spend 100 days planning how you will integrate happiness habits into your daily life.

Happiness-Planner-The-Brand-MentalistSimple, weekly reflections encourage you to rate your happiness and to record financial, work, personal and time-management goals for the week. Each day, there is space for a schedule, to dos, inspiring thoughts, exercises, meals, ideas and gratitude.

Gratitude-And-Positivity-PlannerTaking 15 minutes at the end of your day is the perfect way to use this planner and at the end of 100 days you complete a series of 10 questions to review your efforts.

The Happiness Planner is available in aqua, pink and black and is priced at $44.95. It boasts the following ‘spec’ and is a great quality planner for the price point:

  • Gold-foil stamping slipcase & hardcover
  • Each planner comes with its own individual slipcase
  • 210mm x 145mm (A5)
  • White 100gram paper
  • 264 pages

If you are seeking ways to train your mind to be more positive and resilient, this planner is for you. In my opinion, self reflection and development is a valuable life skill and if a pretty planner can help you do it then I’m all for it.
