I generally felt quite well apart from sleep deprivation through stopping my migraine meds! I am one of these people who cries when they are tired and gets hangry when they need food. All is well now and I am grateful for another fun packed month.

Instalife February 2014

February was good. Apart from a massive 5 day attack this week, I am generally enjoying an improvement with my migraines, meaning I am having more ‘normal’ days. In 2013, I had 90 migraine days.  A quarter of the year. 3 months worth. Thank goodness for scheduling, that’s all I can say! I’m really hoping the good spell lasts well into 2014….

Instalife: December 2013

Happy New Year! I hope you have all had a great holiday season? I relished the break and did far too much lazying around in my PJs. I’m back in the swing of things now, so you can expect regular posts again, hurrah!

Here’s what I got up to in December, via my Instagram feed.


December saw lots of sunny clear days so I got out for walks and coffee dates with G

Made tons of cuff links for a new stockist / Made my lounge cosy for a blogger challenge


Made custom Scrabble tile brooches / Worked on a secret project (SO EXCITING)

Found bicycle washi tape (perfect day) / Inherited my Nan’s yarn stash


Enjoyed sunny days in Cambridge / A day out in London with my family

Christmas decs in Covent Garden / Found an amazing sweet shop (Sugar Sin)


Decorated the tree and inherited some handmade vintage Christmas deer

Went for pom pom Christmas wrap / Finding festive post boxes in my neighbourhood


Hosted a vegan Christmas dinner party with my girlfriends / Cute rabbit lamp from G

Amazing Duct Tape earrings from an overseas friend / My flute is fixed! (Thank you G) 

2013 was a busy busy year, but I really felt that I achieved a lot. I am almost at 200 sales in my Etsy store and this little blog was as packed with content as I could possibly make it.

In the summer I will be able to reveal the secret project I’ve been working on (dying to tell you all) and I will be releasing some exciting content throughout 2014 which will push me to learn lots of new things.

OH! I nearly forgot…I’m working on refurbishing my craft studio, so look out for a makeover post soon!

Instalife: The November I Turned 30

WOW. November was busy. I turned 30, did a big fair and made a ton of bicycle bracelets. I have been having a really good couple of months for migraines which I’m hoping continues. Fingers crossed!
