April Favourites 2014

It’s time for another favourites post! Today’s favourites are floral and pastel themed and begin with Spring flowers. How pretty are these lilac and white tulips from Cambridge market?

I often buy daffodils for the craft studio too. SO cheery.

I have been looking for a new business card holder lately as I didn’t want one of the boring silver cases. Rachel at OH NO Rachio makes these super cute glitter card wallets so I snapped up the parma violet one.

In a couple of weeks I’ll be attending the next Crafty Fox talk and will definitely be taking this sparkly baby stocked with cards!

Staying on the glitter theme, I am loving this Crown and Glory glitter heart headband. We recently went to a family wedding and I wore this instead of a hat with this frock.

The sun has been making a few appearances in Cambridge this Spring! It always makes me want to wear this wooden sunglasses necklace by Onetenzeroseven. I’ve been wearing it with my hand stamped star ring too.

Lush bath melts are my favourite treat! This time I got a Butterball, Melting Marshmallow and Floating Island.

These floral glass water bottles from Dunelm are now in our fridge giving us chilled water and OJ on demand. Much prettier than a plastic bottle right?

My sister got me some amazing loose tea from Fortum and Mason for Christmas and I’ve been enjoying a cup or two in the afternoons. I must be extremely British as I do think the afternoon is the best time to enjoy fresh tea.

I also want to say a little thanks to my Twitter followers who voted for me in the UK Arts and Craft Blogger competition run by Medals UK. I got the silver! You can take a look at the other winners here.

March Favourites 2014

Can someone tell me where March went please? Wowzers it was a fast month!

Firstly, I’d love to share with you a little feature I had this week on the Eleanor’s NYC blog. They are a fashionable biking accessories store in New York and offer biking tips and DIYs on their blog. You can read my interview here. It includes this cheesy photo if you need any persuading haha!

Anyway, here are my favourites for March including some handmade, craft, stationery, fashion and beauty things I’ve been loving.

Handmade coasters by Finest Imaginary and The Bellwether.

Getting back into Smashbooking!

This beautiful handmade mint doily is from a fellow Etsy seller in Cambridgeshire. It’s utterly stunning and really delicate.

My sweet pea Cambridge Satchel comes on all tea and coffee dates with me. I’m now coveting the Shoulder Bag in Orchid and the luggage tags to add to my collection.

New (to me) stationery brands. My Kikki.K haul has been keeping me very happy. Can you see a mint theme in this blog post?!

Gold Bakers Twine from Riky and Nina on Etsy.

Of course I’m no beauty blogger and I’m actually not that much of a make up gal, but I absolutely love Benefit’s They’re Real mascara. Well worth the £20 price tag.

New shoes! When I want to buy something new, I always wait at least 30 days before purchasing to make sure I still want it. These Patent Mary Janes from Topshop are so super comfy and go with my wardrobe well (I wear dresses every day).
