Last weekend I took a Quill London Calligraphy class which was held in Cambridge. I had a fantastic time and it was oddly relaxing, despite it being way more challenging than it looks. Here are a few photos of the class as well as a calligraphy project I recently shared with the We Make Collective subscribers.
The class was well paced and Imogen gave each person individual feedback on their technique throughout. I’m now trying to practice for around 20 minutes a day and it has given me an excuse to finally use my handmade books for something.
Here’s what I made for the We Make Collective – this month’s kit was to learn Calligraphy and Hand Lettering.
