The Spring Knitting & Stitching Show Ticket Giveaway

GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED.

This year I’m working on completing all my unfinished craft projects. It’s a huge pile of half knitted jumpers, an almost completed quilt, some endless cross stitch projects and loads of crochet goodies. And don’t even get me started on how behind I am with scrapbooking and journaling! Plus I definitely want to start sewing more clothes….have you seen the new Mila Dungarees Pattern from Tilly and the Buttons?! My pal Zeena looks so great in the launch photos!

This craft determination for 2018 is one of the reasons I am planning to attend the Spring Knitting and Stitching Show in London next month, to give me a burst of inspiration and motivation. I’ll be taking my Mum along too for a nice crafty day out!

Tips for not spending all your money. Just take cash and no card. Then you have to think about what you are spending. And don’t take more than you are happy to spend.

Oooooh! Great comp. My top tip is not to walk past the bead stalls if you’re not into beads. They will always have something unusual or helpful on their stand that you’re not expecting to see.

Every year I plan to get along to this show….so determined this time I will make it. So many wonderful things to see and do…such fun!!

Tips for not spending too much – Look around, take pics or cards from those stalls you like. Go for a cuppa and cake and return to them if their items are still in your mind! Always helps me work out what I want vs what I need 🙂

I love taking my mum to this show, every year without fail. It’s a great day out for her. Currently, she’s working on making a few baby ‘sun bonnet Sue’ quilts for friends and for myself, making the odd block quilt topper for the Linus project!
