This year we have a real Christmas tree for the first time in ages. When we lived in a flat we had a mini one, but this time we have a 6 foot Nordmann Fir Christmas Tree from the lovely folks at Pines and Needles. When I opened the door for delivery I was delighted to hear two courier blokes shout MERRY CHRISTMAS!
The tree is so full and thick and the smell of a real fir tree is so festive. Tammy has been enjoying hiding underneath it and emerging all sneakily #forestcat. It has hardly dropped any needles at all. Today I enjoyed finding all the handmade Christmas ornaments to hang on it. Do you think I should add a few more and maybe a tree skirt?
Most of our decorations are traditional with a red and white colour scheme. Some are vintage which I inherited and some are new this year. I also hung the DIY glitter baubles I made for last year’s tree.
