September was full of lovely things. Of course my most favourite thing was our trip away to Florida! Disney’s Magic Kingdom fireworks were really magical.
This post is really two month’s worth of favourites as I took August off from blogging. It’s also in part a mini haul of items I bought in America (full hauls are being uploaded to my You Tube channel).
I’m always keen to support UK designer makers and often find talented people to buy from on Instagram. How good is this terrarium pin from Finest Imaginary? Kim offers free UK shipping for all her orders too.
At a recent craft market, my stall neighbour was Alison Hullyer and I couldn’t resist one of her screen printed bicycle tea towels.I needed a new needle case and found Helen from Living Longingly selling these sweet polka dot ones on Instagram.
It wouldn’t be a favourites post without some stationery right? In the US, I was on the hunt for Heidi Swapp products including Project Life and planning supplies. These gold foil stickers were on offer too!
We visited Target where I found some stationery items in their ‘one spot’ dollar bins. Perfect for my planner.
This gold chevron fabric from Michael’s craft store will probably be made into a cushion cover. It’s super pretty. I’m definitely having a gold moment right now.
I had to pick up some recollections glue runners too. They are the best ones I’ve ever used for papercrafting and scrapbooking.
Now we’ve moved into autumn, the seasonal candles have arrived in shops yay! I went to Bath and Body Works in the USA and found some great pumpkin candles and cinnamon scents.I reaaaaally wish Bath and Body Works delivered to the UK. I was seriously pushing the luggage limit after visiting their store!
Autumn means plenty of Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes too! G and I have been taking our usual weekend trips out for a coffee and enjoying these illustrated seasonal cups. It’s about time I used my handmade coffee cup sleeve too!
I had heard lots about the EOS lip balms before I went to the US, so picked up a Strawberry Sorbet and a Honeysuckle one. The dome shape is great for application, but they do take up more space in your bag. You can get these in Boots in the UK, but they are a lot more expensive than in America.
The range of New Balance trainers in the USA was extensive! I picked up these grey and pink suede trainers for around £40. I made an error by wearing them to an outdoor craft market last weekend so they are a little grass stained now!
Kate Spade shops were everywhere in Florida and the sales were insanely good. I picked up a purse and a handbag for just under £100. I think I’m having a hot pink moment right now. This purse has a ton of card slots too which I really needed. This Coral Kate Spade Handbag has a cross body strap and makes a nice change from my usual Cambridge satchels!
I want to give a nod to Cath Kidston this month. I had bought a raincoat from them which was faulty and I had to return it to be replaced. Their customer service team were absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond. So I did some more shopping in store and got this cute squirrel mug and pin for a friend.
Right, I’m off to enjoy my autumn candles and Mollie Makes magazine in the studio!
Love Kate Spade! That cross body bag is so cute!
Looks like you had a great time in USA too!
Absolutely love the bag and shoes! Such lovely colours – and a lovely blog post too 🙂
