The Decorative Living Fair – A Giveaway

This week I found out about The Decorative Living Fair which is coming back to Chelsea Old Town Hall on 6th October 2015.  The lovely folk running the fair have given me a pair of tickets to giveaway to my readers! I’m really gutted I can’t attend as there are vintage items and decorative antiques on offer, alongside pieces from new designer makers.

I’m told that if you are a blogger, freelancer or stylist, this is a great place for networking too!

The organisers strive to seek out new dealers and designer-makers who find the larger fairs prohibitively expensive, or to smaller dealers who do not normally exhibit in London. This is one of the reasons I like the idea behind the fair – trade shows and the like can be so expensive, so it gives the small business a chance.Decorative-Living-Fair-Chelsea-4 Decorative-Living-Fair-Chelsea-2

So fancy a free day out to have a look around all the beautiful things on offer? It looks like a really good opportunity for shopping if you like interiors!

To enter, just leave a comment telling me what home wares you would look out for at the fair. I’ll pick one winner at random on Sunday 4 October at 9pm. So be quick!! (Genuine UK entrants only please). Feel free to share the giveaway on social media too. You can also comment on the giveaway post on my Instagram for an additional entry.

This giveaway is now closed. The winner was Ruth Hensman!

I’m pleased I was able to share this with you today, as I love disovering new events. Don’t forget if you’re into supporting designer makers, you can find me at the Crafty Fox Market in Peckham on 10 October. More info here!

I love making home crafts so when I am out at craft fairs, I look for inspiration and purchase items I might like to have a go at myelf. At the moment I am into needle felting and free han embroidery so I would particularly look out for needle felted and embroidered items such as cushions, fashion accessories, bags and sculptures 🙂

Pity you can’t make fair Claire this yet , would love tickets. I m always drawn to re makes from recycled forgotten fabrics. It’s amazing what beautiful crafted items can be made into lampshades, quilts , toys from yesterday’s treasures………..

I have never been to this fair but have followed it on facebook. I would look for bedlinen, cushions, throws and anything to make our cottage more cosy for winter.
