Since I returned from my holiday (more on that next week), it’s been super manic around here whilst I tackle an email backlog, migraines, hospital appointments and family commitments.
Before I had a break, I managed to have a sort out in the studio which resulted in a big clear out and Instagram sale of craft supplies. I needed more storage for my stock, so added some new furniture and updated a few areas. Here’s a few photos of the update – you can see the original studio tour here.
My super useful pegboard remains the focal point of the room.
Card rack – HEMA / Lamp – John Lewis
I also wanted to make a small packing station for my Etsy orders, so this drawer (from the Martha Stewart range at Staples) keeps my paper bag and shop stickers tidy whilst the label machine and business cards sit on top. I get all my cards done with Printed.com and would definitely recommend them.
Desk – IKEA / Coloured Ball Lights – Cable and Cotton
This wicker drawer unit has been a life safer for organising my stock! I worked with Out There Interiors to style this piece and I really enjoyed adding some of my favourite books and decorative pieces to it. It has a nice country feel to it. My Grandad was throwing out his wine rack so I decided to nab it for spray paint storage. It fits the paint cans really well and I even had space for a few rolls of vinyl. Do you think I should paint it white?
Book case – IKEA / Prints – Etsy & Pinterest (free printables!)
My Scrabble tile storage is actually a bead tray from Hobbycraft but it works really well for keeping them organised by letter.
My great grandmother’s button tin sits proudly next to my sewing box and pin cushion collection.
This paper sack has been so useful for storing large rolls of paper. One side is French and the other is in English.
The baskets underneath are full of craft party supplies and scrapbooking items. I got them from G as he gets a Christmas hamper from his office every year. I spray painted them white and now they are the perfect storage!
I really cleared out my yarn collection recently and kept only my favourites! This knitted storage basket from John Lewis can keep quite a few balls of wool in it.
There will be further updates I’m sure as I really want to strip back the supplies I keep in the studio (all because I read this book). Keep an eye on my Instagram sale account if you want to snap up a crafty bargain soon!
