I feel like I’ve made the most of summer so far, although I am feeling pretty worn out. I decided to enjoy some time with family and made sure to enjoy Cambridge as much as possible. We’ve been punting, visiting food fairs and my Grandad and I went on the annual boat trip with his Parkinsons group which I always enjoy.
G went to France and returned with a big box of macarons! Obviously I scoffed a load before I could snap a photo. They were delicious.
I decided to treat myself to a Ban.do Watermelon Bag from The Hambledon. It’s actually a cool bag so I’m thinking it will be useful for our trip to Florida later this year.
Continuing the bag theme, I was gifted this Cambridge Satchel by some friends who know of my obsession! I now have 4, but they are oh so practical. I think they are having a 50% off sale at the moment so it might be worth checking out the website if you’re after one. For my shoulder bag, I managed to grab it in a previous sale for £70 reduced from £240!!
I think the addition of the ‘Cambridge’ logo on the buckles is a new thing, but I really like it! The studs have tiny little bicycles on too.
This month I also got a new bicycle watch from Light In The Box.
When I’m in the studio in the summer, I like to drink iced tea. I got this cute cup from The Hambledon. Perfect for a clumsy person like me who tends to knock drinks over frequently. A sippy cup with a lid haha!
Beauty favourites this month have included a selection of bath bombs. I tried an avocado one from Lush and the new Zoella bath fizzer from her Tutti Fruity range. As it’s a bar rather than a ball, you can just break off how much you’d like. It definitely smelt more subtle than the Lush ones though.
My favourite craft supply this month has been Liquid Leaf Gold Metallic Paint. This stuff isn’t cheap, but it’s bloody marvellous. Once my calligraphy improves, I think I’ll try writing with it. I also want to use it in some jewellery DIYs so watch this space.
It worked really well for giving my marbled clay dish a fancy edging.
Last month I said my Fitbit was one of my favourites. It still is, and this is why…..
Today I discovered the Fitbit counts knitting as steps. So basically craft is exercise. #yarnbeforegym

I’ve been working on a Wool and the Gang Julia Sweater Kit which is made with their Shiny Happy Cotton yarn. It already feels soooo nice, I know it is going to be a great sweater for the autumn.
Do you have any favourites this month? I’d love to hear what you have been enjoying in the comments below.
