I finally got around to working on February layouts for my Project Life scrapbook and also some of March. I find pocket based scrapbooking a nice activity for a rainy Sunday afternoon. Lately I’ve been far too busy to get on with anything other than work, but last weekend I took a day off and took over the lounge with all my supplies.
I have decided to scrapbook on a monthly basis – weekly would be a big task for me and I don’t do enough outside of working to make it worthwhile. I documented our date days, Valentines and a craft fair I did with my Etsy team.
I finally used the Heidi Swapp Foil Kit which I had spent ages looking at rather than using.
I grabbed some more Project Life journalling cards from Hobbycraft when they had 25% off recently. This one is the Super Cute Value Kit.
Some layouts are pretty simple with no embellishments, but I like to combine both styles of memory keeping into my binder.
I also used some journalling cards from the Messy Box subscription. The quality is very good and all cards are square cornered, so I used my corner punch to round them.
This layout shows a bit of valentines, pancake day and some of Tammy. It’s quite bold compared to the rest of my layouts.
I am so enjoying this! It feels like a creative and tangible extension of my Instagram feed. I do wish the Project Life app was available for Android though……
Each month I’ve been writing the events I’d like to document in my planner. This weekend I’m catching up with some friends I haven’t seen in a while, so I’ll be sure to snap some photos for Project Life.
Are you a scrapbooker? Or perhaps you are considering it? If you have any questions just ask in the comments below!
I spent a long time just staring at that Heidi Swapp kit too! haha – it’s soooo pretty. I really love how you match colours across your photos and cards in your spreads. They look like they belong together!

Love this! I really want to start project life in the future; I saw so much good stuff at Michael’s when I was on holiday. Quick question for you – where/how do you get your photos printed? Do you print them yourself or use a company? x

Yay! So pleased you shared some more layouts, they are so lovely! I love the foil kit paired with the photos you’ve chosen – that macaroon on the turquoise plate with the gold next to it? Gorgeous!! xxx
