I know, I know it’s October and I’m mentioning the C word. But I’m too excited about this new craft book – Crochet your Christmas Baubles!
I’m so chuffed to share with you all my collection for the book which is entitled Frozen Winter Wonderland. I worked on the crochet designs below for my own section in the book!
The process of creating a collection was a great learning experience. I wish I could draw well as my sketches for the publisher were quite child like! One of the things I enjoy is selecting the yarn and this collection included a bit of sparkle which was fun.
I find writing crochet patterns a real challenge and each one I do is a learning curve. The Icy Snow Princess was made with a couple of different hair styles before her final look was decided!
My crochet snowflake bauble pattern has been made available for free on the Stitch Craft Create website, so you can try before you buy!
I’m so chuffed to be included in this Christmas crochet book alongside some fabulous designers and makers. It’s out now, so you have plenty of time to get making these baubles for your Christmas decoration collections. I’d love to know what you think. I really can’t decide which one I like the most.
You can see my work in more craft books here.
