I am a sucker for subscription boxes. Thanks to an Instagram pal, I recently discovered the newest one to the UK market; a handmade subscription box by the Lucky Dip Club.
Leona Thrift-ola puts her heart and soul into the boxes which go on sale between 1st-15th of the month. If you manage to snap up a box, you are guaranteed a DIY kit, a handmade jewellery item, fun stationery and accessories, and one personalised item each time.
The first box theme was Vintage Florals and boy did it deliver. It was a sunny yellow box decorated with so much pretty and kitsch I could hardly contain myself.
SPOILERS AHEAD!
Yellow is fast becoming a new favourite colour of mine. Perhaps the Tour De France advertising in Cambridge is having an impact!
I’m not one to wear temporary tattoos, but these sure are sweet. I will definitely use the nail decals however and perhaps share the tatts with a friend or my niece.
The personalised wooden vintage floral brooch was my favourite item of the box.
Leona hand stitched all these lovely vintage floral pouches to hold the cutest cat pocket mirrors you ever did see.
The box included these super cute vintage picture magnets packaged in brown paper bags.
The DIY kit for this month was a roll of floral fabric tape and cocktail sticks to make your own mini floral washi flags….
…..and a little sample with instructions to show you how it’s done.
What I like about this box is that a) it fits through the letter box (no red card of doom!) and b) there are a number of subscription options available. That and the fact it is full of handmade delights as well as a little DIY too!
The next Lucky Dip Club box goes on sale very soon and you can find out more here. Tutti Frutti is the next theme. I am imagining jelly tot coloured items and candy love!
Toodles!
This is gorgeous! I think I’m going to sign up to it 🙂
I love the handmade and personal touch..you can tell a lot of love and thought went into putting this box together x

I love the trend of subscription boxes and this one seems particularly fantastic! I love that there is a personalized item, how fun!
I was absolutely thrilled with my box! It was so well put together and there was a great range of things in it! I do have magnet envy though…I love the little bird house that you got! I got the bunny and a squirrel 🙂 Everything was so cute! I uploaded a Youtube video of my unboxing which was fun! And I agree, one of the best things is that it DOES fit through the letter box! Hallelujah!
