Not a stationery post today folks, but it is equally exciting!! The lovely Bex who runs handmade bricks and mortar store By The Yard, has had a rebrand of her online creative outlet and I’m really excited to share it with you today.
A huge part of this blog is about supporting other handmade sellers in the UK and beyond and especially those who have a strong brand and philosophy behind their work.
Ampersand Commodities (formerly Stuffed Nonsense) has an urban rustic feel and reflects what Bex calls the slow creative movement. Each piece is made with heritage and traditional techniques in mind, but offers a modern piece of jewellery with tons of handmade charm.
After finding Bex’s wonderful makes at Renegade last year, I snapped up one of her pieces. The French knitted Celtic knotted necklaces are gorgeously textured and I always get compliments when I wear mine.
The new range Stitched and Strung offers beautiful hand woven pieces set into minature wooden embroidery hoops. I think fellow crafters will love these.
Please do what you can to support Bex in her new venture! She is one inspiring lady and I’m super pleased she supported me by stocking Claireabellemakes items at By The Yard, so I feel only too happy to share her work today.
