Easy Fat Free Brownies – #TryTotal Challenge

When the guys from Total got in touch with me about the #TryTotal challenge, hand on heart I was eating a tub of Total greek yoghurt. The challenge was to share a Total yoghurt recipe on their Pinterest board with the winner having their recipe printed on Total pots.

Here’s my Easy Fat Free Brownie Recipe for the challenge. I hope you like it!

I started with this fab box of goodies from Total and knew my recipe had to be cake.

I’m eating well at the moment, but I still like to have treats in moderation. These no butter brownies will help any sweet cravings and you can always add dried fruit to make them a little more nutritious. They are more cakey in texture than the usual ‘fudgey’ brownie.

Fat Free Brownies (Makes 12)

  • 175ml Total Yoghurt 0% Fat
  • 60ml Skimmed milk
  • 55g Cocoa powder
  • 75g Plain flour
  • 100g Dark muscavado sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Baking powder

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Transfer mixture into a tray and bake for 15 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (180 fan).

Guilt free eh? Well not entirely, but much better than butter brownies. You can check out all the other #TryTotal recipes on this Pinterest board.

  1. Morning Claire,
These would be fab for my daughter-in-law who has a nut allergy and therefore I can’t use my favourite brownie receipe! No good for me though as the chocolate would trigger a migraine……
