Crochet Totoro

I’m all about the Handmade Valentines Day gifts. So I made G a crochet Totoro. He said he thought it was the best thing I’d ever made. I wanted to keep it really.

I made him a little crochet Valentines heart too.

Now I’m on a mission to find him a tiny umbrella.

Shall I do the cat bus next year ?!

So far he has been on some adventures around the house. Found him in my bike basket….

I am aware those of you that haven’t seen My Neighbour Totoro will have no idea what I’m on about. Go watch it. It’s a little piece of magic from Japan. If you’ve seen it, you will love this photo…

I gifted him with a little Totoro mini illustration.

The crochet Totoro pattern is a free download available on Ravelry here .

I wish I could crochet! I love Totoro, although Howl’s Moving Castle is my favourite of the films.

My daughter loves all things Studio Ghibli, especially Totoro, so I quite pleased I know what it is, the bus stop scene is great as is your crochet Totoro. The Cat Bus would be quite difficult I would imagine.
