I’ve been working on this Felt Advent Calendar kit* which I’ll be gifting to my niece and nephew. Cutting the numbers out took forever, but once I got stitching it was great fun to make!

Hi Claire! I have a nice advent candle from the Fitzwilliam museum and I am thinking that perhaps I could do one myself! (candle=no candy=I’m on diet getting prepared for christmas!)

A candle is a great alternative to candy. We used to have candles for advent as kids, but I would always forget to blow mine out!
Oh I love them all! Advent calendars are such fun. I made one last year which I’m getting out again. It was inspired by that Buttonbag one – it’s like a crazy version of it! I cant wait to see my son’s excitement this year. Now he knows his numbers it’s even more fun.

I never get my act together in time to make an advent calendar…. and end up buying a chocolate one. I’m sad to say that this will probably happen again this year. Oh well. These sure are all pretty! 🙂
