Decorated Paper Maiche Wall Deer Head

Well what an interesting week it’s been in the Claireabellemakes craft room.

This lovely Paper Maiche Wall Deer Head arrived courtesy of Homecrafts who challenged me to decorate him!

Paper Mache Deer Head

Poor old Deer was a little bit naked and chilly (despite the recent hot weather) and really just felt a bit drab in his basic brown attire. How could he stand out amongst the others? Time to think of an i-deer……*groan*!

In comes me with my spray paint and yarn to jazz him up! He was going to be the most stylish Deer you ever did see!

Keeping his cool in icy blue!

What do you think? A simple makeover and a much better, more colourful alternative to taxidermy wall mounts.

Thanks to Homecrafts for the fun challenge. Take a look at how other bloggers decorated their deer here!

I like how you have done the yarn antlers but, I’m so sorry, I liked his colour before you painted him 🙂

What a charming chap! I admit I’m a little obsessed with the idea of having a (non-real) moose head in my study, but am yet to decide on the medium. x
