It’s that time of the month again when the Crafty Creatives Subscription Box arrives! This time it was the turn of box number 3. In my opinion, this is the best one yet!!
If you don’t know about Crafty Creatives, take a little look at their website here. If you like the look of what they have to offer – you pay just £10 a month and a little extra P&P for a box of lovely supplies to craft with, win!
What was in Box 1 and 2? Find out in my previous posts here and here.
If you don’t want to know about this month’s box just yet, don’t scroll any further! SPOILERS AHEAD!!
The art card this month is of koi fish by David Martignoni. Pretty!
The Chinese theme included many paper supplies which I was really happy about!
The fabric is beautiful and will probably be made into a drawstring bag at some point. Always handy to have needles!
I’m always happy if there are food stuffs involved. My fortune cookie told me “someone is watching you smile….” creepy!
I was most excited about the kit this month as book binding is on my craft bucket list, yay!
I did mine along the long edge (the instructions said to stitch along the short edge) as I wanted it this way. I glued the coins on the front and some beads to finish. The stitching could have been neater and a little tighter, but I still like it.
Have you received a Crafty Creatives box? I’d love for you to share your links below!

We had Chinese for dinner so surprised my husband with the fortune cookie lol
Love this box and can’t wait to look at it properly in a minute. Loving the fabric!
How romantic
The fabric makes me think of so many things to make!
I cannot wait to get mine in the post! Not sure when they come but I’ll be getting box 4 in October some time! Love what you’ve done with the book can’t wait to see the rest hope I’m crafty enough :-/ xxx
Honestly, the items just ignite creativity! You are going to love it x
These look like really good fun. An ideal way of trying out bits and pieces that you wouldn’t necessarily buy and in manageable quantities too!
Exactly, I would never go out and buy some of the things that are included, so it always gives me a little challenge!
Your book looks fabulous, I’ve not tried the boxes but I’ve enjoyed reading your posts on them – they look like a great way to try new crafts.Em x
Thanks Em! The boxes are definitely a good way to explore new crafts! x
This box looks amazing! Love your book binding too- what are you going to put in it?
I like to use small note books for to do lists!
This looks like a really good package – must investigate the website further!
I LOVEEEE the boxes! I find it so great for challenging me out of my comfort zone! I loved the nautical one the most so far, however after initially hating this one, I am now really glad I got it because it is so different and interesting new things to try! xx
I wasn’t so keen on the nautical one as I found it more difficult to be creative with it. The driftwood especially!
I had the dreaded royal mail card on the mat when I got home last night and our post office closes at midday so I have to wait until SATURDAY for it to be redelivered
I’m excited now though!! So much beautiful stuff!
Hope I haven’t spoilt it for you Clare! Last week I got a red royal mail card 3 days in a row! HASSLE!!! Can’t wait to see what you make with the items
This looks like such fun! Makes me want Chinese real bad!!!
Ooh what a lovely notebook! Some adorable goodies as usual!
I’ve been hearing a lot lately about the book binding – must be the in craze and I can see why – they look lovely!
It was surprisingly simple!
Oh you made your little notebook already!! It looks lovely with the little beads on the binding string. This is something I’ve always wanted to try too, I’d love to make my own notebooks (to feed my stationery addiction)! Also how beautiful is the brocade fabric, such rich colours!
xx
Let me know when you make your notebook, I’d love to see it! xx
You are so talented! Your notebook looks amazing and I cannot wait to see what you will do with thatgorgeous material.
Thank you – if you have any ideas let me know! I thought of a little draw string bag but now I’m wondering if I can incorporate it into a cushion in my lounge as we have a big oriental picture up….
Anything as long as you can lovingly stroke it from time to time!
This was my first box, absolutely loved it! Can’t wait for the next, love what you’ve done with the book too. Looks lovely with the added beads
